In a small ramen shop called Minami-Alps, in Yamanashi, Japan, a ramen robot is making it possible to customize your bowl of ramen in 40 million ways. A chef prepares the noodles and then the robot takes over, assembling the rest of the bowl according to the customer’s preferences in aspects such as the level of soy sauce flavor and richness of the broth. The robot was launched back in December of 2008, and it’s owner, Uchida, hopes to mass produce the robot for ramen restaurants everywhere. *SLURP* *YUM*
